Their role includes leading warm-ups in PE lessons and leading and promoting activities at lunchtime, helping children to stay active and enjoy playing together. They also support sports events and competitions, encourage their teams on Sports Day and celebrate the efforts and achievements of others.

World Warriors
Our World Warriors are pupil leaders who help make Charlton Manor a greener, more environmentally responsible school. They encourage everyone to care for our planet through everyday actions, such as reducing waste, recycling and saving energy.
They also act as our Travel Ambassadors, promoting safe, active and sustainable journeys to school. By encouraging walking, scooting, cycling and using public transport where possible, they help raise awareness of how our travel choices can support both our wellbeing and the environment.
Our World Warriors share pupils’ ideas, promote environmental and travel initiatives, and encourage others to get involved. Through this role, they develop their leadership skills and show how working together can make a positive difference to our school, our community and the wider world.

Their role includes supporting younger children, helping pupils understand lunchtime routines and encouraging everyone to care for our shared dining space. They work alongside lunchtime staff, offering a helping hand and helping children feel included.

Pupil Parliament
Our Pupil Parliament gives children at Charlton Manor a voice in shaping school life. Pupil representatives listen to their classmates, share ideas and discuss issues that matter to them, helping to ensure that children’s views are heard and considered.
Through regular meetings, members work together to suggest improvements, raise concerns and contribute to decisions about our school. They then feed back to their classes, helping pupils understand how their ideas have been taken forward.
Our Pupil Parliament encourages children to speak up when they feel something is unfair, listen respectfully to different opinions and work together to find solutions. Through this role, pupils develop confidence, responsibility and an understanding of democracy, learning that their voices can make a positive difference.
